Scrotal lumps:

It is fairly common to develop lumps or swelling in the scrotum, particularly as men get older. They may be caused by a leash of veins which become enlarged (varicocoele), fluid filled cysts (hydrocoele or epididymal cyst) or abdominal contents protruding from the groin into the scrotum (hernia). They are generally not serious but may cause troublesome symptoms which require surgical treatment.
